I run a little Montessori nursery in North London and the highlight of our week is our music class with one of Lucy’s friends, Harry Sparkles. The children are completely captivated for the entire session! Harry brings such enthusiasm and energy into the room and is so personable he is able to get the shyest of little beans to join in. Armed with his guitar, saxophone and clarinet, as well as a bag full of props, the children have learned so much. We have had to rotate the days that he comes so everyone can have a turn! I would like to thank Lauren for providing the best birthday party I have ever had – and it was for my 70th birthday. It had long been a family joke that I had always wanted to be a ballet dancer- never a chance! I had come across Lauren as she was my little granddaughter’s favourite ballet teacher. I approached Lauren to see if she could help me throw a surprise Zoom ballet lesson party for the family.

Suffice to say it was a ginormous hit, we all had so much fun. Lauren pitched it perfectly for an age range from 3 – 70. I just wanted to let you know that Ella entertained at Sam’s party on Sunday. She did a fabulous job; kept a dozen children of 2-6 years old happy and entertained. This is no small feat. There were 3 boys (including my older son) who had got over excited and bashy, and Ella managed to calm them down and get them involved. This is the second time I’ve seen her work her magic and simply can’t praise her highly enough. Without that 45mins of calm, the cake wouldn’t have been finished, the food would’ve been unheated, the parents not talked to. We had a Lucy Sparkles party for my daughter’s birthday and it was one of the best children’s parties I have ever hosted. The ages of the children ranged from 3 years to 7 years and they were all transfixed for the whole time. Not one of them moved from the party room and they had great fun joining in all the songs and actions. In fact, they are still singing some of the songs a month later! I was a bit worried the boys might get bored as it was a Frozen party but the games and dances were not gender specific and everyone joined in.
