Ben Sparkles has been with The Park Gardens Nursery for more than a year as a peripatetic singing teacher. He takes the sessions very seriously and is able to manage children of different ages in groups of twelve. He uses a variety of instruments, a parachute and lots of visual aids. Some of the songs are original and they are mixed with familiar ones. He has an excellent record of attendance and is always punctual.
Ben always shows care and commitment in all his work with the children and in turn they love having him here. He will go out of his way to ensure the children in his care are safe and secure at all times. Ben would be an asset to any nursery class. It had long been a family joke that I had always wanted to be a ballet dancer- never a chance! I had come across Lauren as she was my little granddaughter’s favourite ballet teacher. I approached Lauren to see if she could help me throw a surprise Zoom ballet lesson party for the family.

Suffice to say it was a ginormous hit, we all had so much fun. Lauren pitched it perfectly for an age range from 3 – 70. We had a Lucy Sparkles party for my daughter’s birthday and it was one of the best children’s parties I have ever hosted. The ages of the children ranged from 3 years to 7 years and they were all transfixed for the whole time. I run a little Montessori nursery in North London and the highlight of our week is our music class with one of Lucy’s friends, Harry Sparkles. The children are completely captivated for the entire session! Harry brings such enthusiasm and energy into the room and is so personable he is able to get the shyest of little beans to join in. Armed with his guitar, saxophone and clarinet, as well as a bag full of props, the children have learned so much. We have had to rotate the days that he comes so everyone can have a turn! There were 3 boys (including my older son) who had got over excited and bashy, and Ella managed to calm them down and get them involved. The party was great! Megan was absolutely wonderful. She rang a few days before the party to go through everything and was super friendly and clear so I knew what to expect. On the day she was fantastic, entertaining the kids amongst the chatty adults! and keeping the children focused playing fun games and singing, but not too overwhelming for them all. She had made a playlist with all of my daughter’s favourite songs which was so lovely. I have messaged her to say thanks but I also wanted to tell you guys how much we appreciated her being part of my daughter’s birthday and how much fun she brought to the day. I think my daughter wants to do it all again this weekend! Parent – SE4

Thank you so much for a lovely party, Hannah was amazing and really professional, she phoned a few days before to go through the schedule which was very reassuring. She had a lot of fun games to do and things to get the children’s attention. They get excited and concentration is short for 5 year olds! They loved the sparkly tattoos. My son’s tattoo was on the next day and he was amazed, saying “oh it’s the lady’s magic!!”
My son had a lovely time! I really could not have done well without her.

The party was excellent. Sarah and Matilda did an excellent job of managing a large group of children, and held their attention superbly. They were also flexible in accommodating the constraints of our space in the house and worked around the changeable weather conditions! They were patient in managing the kids and the sparkly tattoos in particular were a big hit. We would definitely recommend to others.SW12 Parent
