I just wanted to let you know that Ella entertained at Sam’s party on Sunday. She did a fabulous job; kept a dozen children of 2-6 years old happy and entertained. This is no small feat. There were 3 boys (including my older son) who had got over excited and bashy, and Ella managed to calm them down and get them involved. This is the second time I’ve seen her work her magic and simply can’t praise her highly enough. Without that 45mins of calm, the cake wouldn’t have been finished, the food would’ve been unheated, the parents not talked to. Ben Sparkles has been with The Park Gardens Nursery for more than a year as a peripatetic singing teacher. He takes the sessions very seriously and is able to manage children of different ages in groups of twelve. He uses a variety of instruments, a parachute and lots of visual aids. Some of the songs are original and they are mixed with familiar ones. He has an excellent record of attendance and is always punctual.
Ben always shows care and commitment in all his work with the children and in turn they love having him here. He will go out of his way to ensure the children in his care are safe and secure at all times. Ben would be an asset to any nursery class. I run a little Montessori nursery in North London and the highlight of our week is our music class with one of Lucy’s friends, Harry Sparkles. I admit I had doubts how into it Honey would be as she hasn’t enjoyed zoom calls with grandparents or nursery teachers all that much but the fact you were so good at capturing their attention and that numbers were restricted i think it made it the perfect storm to work out brilliantly. We were really happy with Jodie Sparkles and her assistant. She was well organised, showed great management skills over the kids and organised some fun and engaging activities. All of the children really enjoyed themselves and the mums and dads (that did stick around to drink the beer and wine on offer) were impressed. I just wanted to say a really big thankyou for your and Gemma’s sterling efforts at Sophia’s party on Saturday. It was super noisy and super warm but you still managed to capture all the children’s attention!
