I would like to thank Lauren for providing the best birthday party I have ever had – and it was for my 70th birthday. It had long been a family joke that I had always wanted to be a ballet dancer- never a chance! I had come across Lauren as she was my little granddaughter’s favourite ballet teacher. I approached Lauren to see if she could help me throw a surprise Zoom ballet lesson party for the family.

Suffice to say it was a ginormous hit, we all had so much fun. Lauren pitched it perfectly for an age range from 3 – 70. Ben Sparkles has been with The Park Gardens Nursery for more than a year as a peripatetic singing teacher. He takes the sessions very seriously and is able to manage children of different ages in groups of twelve. He uses a variety of instruments, a parachute and lots of visual aids. Some of the songs are original and they are mixed with familiar ones. He has an excellent record of attendance and is always punctual.
Ben always shows care and commitment in all his work with the children and in turn they love having him here. Our children love Callie Sparkles. She is very enthusiastic when she comes and the children are always excited to see her and what she might have in her special bag this week. She keeps things very varied for the children and every week has something new to introduce to them either by an active game or singing with the key board (in a very high pitch which I can not dream of reaching) or even combining the two and covering music and movement.
The toddlers really enjoy her time too I have never seen them sit so well or so close to anyone before, again I think it’s because she changes things up for them and introduces some variety.
The parents have given some really positive feedback about her too as the children go home with their ‘sparkles’ from her telling them all about her.

She had a blast and I’ve had so many lovely texts from the other mums that their kiddies enjoyed it too. You did a fantastic job and all via zoom too. True profesh! I admit I had doubts how into it Honey would be as she hasn’t enjoyed zoom calls with grandparents or nursery teachers all that much but the fact you were so good at capturing their attention and that numbers were restricted i think it made it the perfect storm to work out brilliantly.
