We had Ayshe Sparkles come to my daughter’s 4th birthday party. It was such a good idea to have her – she sang, organised the games and activities (even pass the parcel) and the kids loved it. We had a zoom party with Lauren Sparkles for my 1 year old’s birthday and it was brilliant. In these times when we cannot be together for such events, this was a great way to celebrate with the family, in various households around the UK. Every child was able to participate with ideas and it was easy to flip between seeing just Lauren and our camera, to seeing everyone on the gallery view. Even the grandparents had a blast. I run a little Montessori nursery in North London and the highlight of our week is our music class with one of Lucy’s friends, Harry Sparkles. The children are completely captivated for the entire session! Harry brings such enthusiasm and energy into the room and is so personable he is able to get the shyest of little beans to join in. Armed with his guitar, saxophone and clarinet, as well as a bag full of props, the children have learned so much. We have had to rotate the days that he comes so everyone can have a turn! I just wanted to let you know that Ella entertained at Sam’s party on Sunday. She did a fabulous job; kept a dozen children of 2-6 years old happy and entertained. This is no small feat. There were 3 boys (including my older son) who had got over excited and bashy, and Ella managed to calm them down and get them involved. This is the second time I’ve seen her work her magic and simply can’t praise her highly enough. Without that 45mins of calm, the cake wouldn’t have been finished, the food would’ve been unheated, the parents not talked to.
