I run a little Montessori nursery in North London and the highlight of our week is our music class with one of Lucy’s friends, Harry Sparkles. The children are completely captivated for the entire session! Harry brings such enthusiasm and energy into the room and is so personable he is able to get the shyest of little beans to join in. Armed with his guitar, saxophone and clarinet, as well as a bag full of props, the children have learned so much. We have had to rotate the days that he comes so everyone can have a turn! I would like to thank Lauren for providing the best birthday party I have ever had – and it was for my 70th birthday. It had long been a family joke that I had always wanted to be a ballet dancer- never a chance! I had come across Lauren as she was my little granddaughter’s favourite ballet teacher. We had a Lucy Sparkles party for my daughter’s birthday and it was one of the best children’s parties I have ever hosted. The ages of the children ranged from 3 years to 7 years and they were all transfixed for the whole time. Not one of them moved from the party room and they had great fun joining in all the songs and actions. In fact, they are still singing some of the songs a month later! We were really happy with Jodie Sparkles and her assistant. She was well organised, showed great management skills over the kids and organised some fun and engaging activities. All of the children really enjoyed themselves and the mums and dads (that did stick around to drink the beer and wine on offer) were impressed.
